About the Chapter
The Rho Chapter at University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, IL chartered on May 25, 1918. Over 2091 men have been initiated into the Rho Chapter since its inception.
Current Status
The Rho Chapter volunteered last spring at the Eastern Illinois Food Bank alongside their mothers for Mom’s Weekend. This exemplary student volunteer-driven event demonstrates the enthusiasm our chapter leaders pour into their campus community. In September, we hosted a recruitment event where we played basketball and barbecued. There was a large turnout of incoming freshmen who enjoyed the experience. Our next philanthropy event for this semester will be a polar plunge in Lake Michigan. We will raise money for a handful of brothers to safely jump into Lake Michigan. All proceeds were donated to the Judy Fund.
