Preparing for Events

Before moving on, take some time to reflect on the following questions. These are great questions to be discussing with your Council and Risk Management Team.

  • As a leader, what are you most concerned about regarding your social events this year?
  • How are you preparing your members to assist in managing events?
  • What does your chapter need to consider in the pre-planning phase?
  • How far in advance should a chapter start planning an event?
  • What tools are you using to plan events?

Chapters are encouraged to use Event Planning Forms (requirement within the CPR).
